SYNLawn Synthetic Turf Becomes a Part of the Downtown Dallas Landscape

The downtown area is a signature part of the Dallas landscape, and SYNLawn® synthetic turf products are playing a significant role in the evolution of that landscape. At first glance, the streets of downtown might seem like an odd fit for synthetic grass. The truth, however, is that our versatile products can assimilate virtually anywhere, and have fit in quite nicely in their new downtown digs.

Artificial Grass and the Dallas Giant Eyeball

Our products were first introduced to the downtown area this past November, when they were installed on the Headington-owned property that displays the awe-inspiring Tasset Fiberglass Eyeball Sculpture. This incredible 30 foot high sculpture, which is located on Main Street in downtown directly across from the magnificent Joule Hotel, is surrounded by lush SYNLawn® Bermuda turf. The pristine look and feel of our turf provides the perfect backdrop for this thought-provoking piece of art.

Turf on Main Street

Most recently, our products reappeared on Main Street in an entirely new and interesting way when SYNLawn® teamed up with Downtown Dallas Inc. to test the concept of outfitting test medians on Main Street with synthetic grass. The thinking behind this was not only aesthetically based, although the medians included in this test phase are considerably more pleasing to the eye. SYNLawn® pet turf has proven to be an incredibly safe and comfortable surface for dogs, and our synthetic turf was added to medians with the idea of making life easier for dogs and dog owners living in the downtown area.

Artificial Turf in Dallas

SYNLawn® is thrilled to be a part of the fiber and fabric of the great city of Dallas, and are excited that our line of synthetic turf products are playing a role in improving upon the already great downtown experience. The inclusion of our products in the downtown landscape speaks to their versatility, and we can make that versatility work to your benefit.
