Braswell High School in Denton, Texas, just received a new, custom-designed synthetic turf athletic field in their courtyard. This multi-purpose athletic field features two of our revolutionary, Dallas synthetic grass options, with additional shock absorption padding from Brock USA and a highly effective antimicrobial infill called Envirofill.

Braswell High School wanted to provide students and faculty with a clean and safe space to show their school spirit while enjoying their athletic activities. They chose SYNLawn for their custom field installation because of our exclusive turf technologies, higher safety features, customization capabilities, precision installation services and more. Our team of expert Dallas athletic field installers utilized 11,500 sq. ft. of SYNTipede 321 and prefabricated various colors of SYNPlay 48 for the custom logo addition.

Beneath the surface of this Dallas artificial grass installation, we placed a 2-inch shock-absorbing cushion from Brock USA to provide protection against concussions and other common injuries that may occur during sporting events and practice. These pads undergo rigorous head injury criteria, Gmax body impact, and foot firmness impact testing to ensure that it provides the highest level of injury prevention.

In addition, we incorporate Envirofill® antimicrobial turf infill to further reduce stains, odors, and grass deterioration. This antimicrobial infill prevents the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew to provide cleaner, safer, and hypoallergenic surfaces for the students to enjoy.


SYNTipede 321 provides a combination of superior durability and high performance with ultra-realistic appearances and behaviors. This artificial turf option is best suited for heavy foot traffic areas as well as athletic training. Regardless of the level of activity on this synthetic grass, it will provide consistent support, comfortability, and vibrance. Additionally, SYNTipede 321 is proudly part of our collection of USDA-certified products that contain more than 60% bio-based materials within its composition. We proudly partner with US farmers to source materials including sugar cane and soybean oil so that we can substantially cut back our use of petroleum-based components in our manufacturing process. This allows us to further our commitment towards environmental sustainability. The new Braswell High athletic field is designed with resilient, non-abrasive surfaces and an energy-absorbing backing cushion to reduce joint stress and the likelihood of frequent exercise and practice-related injuries. Additionally, the athletic field features our state-of-the-art athletic turf SYNPlay 48. SYNPlay 48 is IPEMA certified and available in seven standard colors with the option of custom colors. We prefabricated the school logo with SYNPlay 48 to add to the center of the courtyard athletic field. SYNPlay 48 is another soft and safe athletic surface but was chosen primarily for its versatility and customization options. With this unique feature, we were able to include a higher level of school spirit, something that can bring students and faculty together as both an academic and athletic team.
